Run your first agent template

Templates are chains of real hosted tools where each step's output threads into the next — run one end to end and see the whole chain.

What a template actually is

A template is a chain of real hosted tools wired together — each step's output threads into the next step's input. Run concrete-pour-estimator and three tools execute in order: concrete sizes the pour, rebar grids it, and bid-estimator turns the concrete cost straight into the bid's material line. Nothing here is "coming soon" — every step runs live against the same hosted calculators the tool pages document.

Run it from the page

Open /agents/templates/concrete-pour-estimator/, fill the inputs form (it's pre-filled with a working example), and press Run it. The chain executes server-side and the full JSON — every step's tool, arguments, and result — comes back in the output pane.

Or call it as an agent

{"shape":"slab","length":30,"width":24,"thickness_in":4,"labor_hours":24,"labor_rate":55,"margin_pct":15}

The response's steps array shows each tool's args and result — including the material cost that flowed from concrete into bid-estimator without you computing it by hand. Browse the rest of the catalog at /agents/templates.
